Telemachus, son of Odysseus, travels from island to island and across many oceans searching for his father. Along the way, the gods of Olympus (especially Athena) intervene to ease his journey. It is very clear to all those in Telemachus' company that he is aided by divine intervention, and at one point it is remarked to him that "the gods were never indifferent to your life".

Painted with acrylics on a 36"w x 48"h x 1.25"d gallery canvas.
